Are you a lover of jazz? Then Amersfoort World Jazz Festival is for you. This festival, takes place every year in the historic center of Amersfoort. It is the stage for World Jazz acts from home and abroad.

From August 14 to 18, Amersfoort World Jazz Festival will experience its 45th edition. The festival offers an adventurous program with more than eighty concerts on indoor and outdoor stages in the historic city center.

NTJAM ROSIE
Ntjam Rosie will be at this year's Amersfoort World Jazz Festival, in an intimate duo setting in the St. Aegtenkapel but also at Lieve Vrouwekerkhof where she will present her latest record Embrace the New with Licks & Brains.

DEBORAH BROWN
Deborah Brown is this year's International Artist in Residence, this top vocalist is the epitome of jazz. Ballads, up tempo, scatting, she turns the whole venue upside down.

FEMKE MOOREN
Femke Mooren is the 2024 Endorsed Exceptional Talent. This young alto saxophonist won the Prinses Christina Concours, and has already played in India on behalf of Amersfoort World Jazz Festival. She creates her own compositions and during the festival she will perform in various formations.

ANITA PETRUESCU
A hidden gem, Anita Petruescu plays with an acoustic band in the St. Aegten Chapel. Her music is intense, delicate, but also subtle and hits you right in the heart.
