Firma MES unravels the world of the civil service. Where policies and laws are prepared, implemented and monitored, and where the "new culture of government" is being sought hard. What is it like to work while every step is recorded, monitored and the whole world is watching suspiciously? How 'transparent' is 'transparent' enough? What can officials offer citizens? And what can they expect in return?

Three government officials head into theaters to strengthen ties with citizens, their audience. They are looking for an informative exchange that will contribute to mutual trust, but they end up losing themselves completely in the impossibility of the enormous task.

In a comical and slightly absurdist way, the tension between citizens, politics and civil service unfolds just as distrust in our government is increasing. Based on interviews and thorough research, this is the newest, burningly topical performance by Firma MES in collaboration with writer Jannemieke Caspers.
