Amersfoort Marathon 2024

The Marathon Amersfoort has been organized -with an interruption of 2 years- annually in June since 2009. The event offers distances from 5 kilometers to the half marathon of 21.1 kilometers.

For children, there will be a 1.1km and 2.2km mini marathon. Secondary school students run the 5K Schoolchallenge. Children from Amersfoort primary and secondary schools (schools Amersfoort, Soest, Nijkerk and Baarn) participate for free.

Along the course there will be several live bands and DJs. Annually, about 5 to 6 thousand runners run the Marathon Amersfoort.

A good portion are from abroad; in 2019, runners from as many as 39 countries were represented.

When you register, you can transfer a small additional amount for charity: a project in the oncology department of Friends of Meander.

09:00 a.m.: Movement 3.0 Walking Marathon 15 km and 21 km
09:10 a.m.: SKA MiniMarathon 1.1 km group 3 girls and boys
09:20 a.m.: SKA MiniMarathon 1.1 km, group 4 girls and boys
09:30: SKA MiniMarathon 1.1 km, group 5/6, girls and boys
09.40: SKA MiniMarathon 2.2 km, 09.20 girls and boys up to 14 years old
10.00 a.m.: 10km Meander
10:30 a.m.: Underdock 21 km
1 p.m.: MSA 5 km and 5K School Challenge
