Femke Bol takes gold again at the World Cup! - After the 400m hurdles, also gold on the 4x 400m relay!

Femke Bol teamed up with Saalberg, Klaver and Peeters to start the 400m relay at the World Championships in Budapest on Sunday, Aug. 27. Bol was handed the baton last to finish the race. At the time of entering the final lap she was running third, but by a tremendous final sprint Bol made up for this completely on the final runners from Great Britain and Jamaica. With a phenomenal final sprint on British Nicole Yeargin and Jamaican Stacey Ann Williams, team orange finished in a fantastic 1st place!

  • Femke Bol

    Femke Bol (born February 20, 2000) specializes in the 400 m and 400 m hurdles. Femke Bol is a reigning European champion Outdoor and indoor and has also held the world indoor record since February 2023. On August 4, 2021, she won the bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics in a European record of 52.03 s.

  • Puck Pieterse

    Puck Pieterse (May 13, 2002) is the 2023 Dutch mountain bike champion and a multi-talent on the bike. Pieterse became Dutch and European cyclocross champion in the juniors in 2019 and European cyclocross champion in the U23 category in 2020. In January 2022, she became world champion in the U23 category in Fayetteville, USA, and in November of the same year, she became European champion in the U23 category for the second time.

    Bart Vriends (born May 9, 1991) is a footballer who plays as a central defender. He has been playing for Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie since July 2016. He also makes the weekly podcast 'De Cor Potcast' and participated in 'De Slimste Mens'

  • Tariq Osaro

    Tariq "Cookie" Osaro (born Sept. 12, 1995) is a kickboxer who competes in GLORY's heavyweight division. In 2023, he defeated Croatian Antonio Plazibat and crowned himself interim champion in GLORY's heavyweight division. In late 2023, his big next fight for the world title will be against Rico Verhoeven. In addition, Tariq Osaro is Youth Coach where he motivates young people through sports.

  • Wilco Kelderman

    Wilco Kelderman (March 25, 1991) is a cyclist known primarily as a time trial specialist and classification rider who has been riding for Jumbo Visma since 2023. In 2021 he finished 5th in the Tour de France, in 2017 4th in the Vuelta and in 2020 3rd in the Giro. In 2023 he will be at the start of the Tour de France again.

  • Alistair Overeem

    Alistair Overeem (born May 17, 1980) is an MMA fighter and kickboxer. He is a former Strikeforce heavyweight champion and won the K-1 World Grand Prix in December 2010. In doing so, he became the only fighter ever to be a world champion in both MMA and K-1. In the same month, he also became the first heavyweight champion with the MMA organization Dream.In the past, he competed against names such as Badr Hari, Remy Bonjanski and Peter Aerts.

  • Marco van Ginkel

    Marco van Ginkel (born December 1, 1992) is a footballer who usually plays as a midfielder. He signed a contract with Vitesse, which acquired him from PSV, in January 2023. Van Ginkel made his debut in the Dutch national team in 2012. In the past, Marco van Ginkel has also played soccer at Chelsea, AC Milan and Stoke City. In 2013, he became Dutch talent of the year.

  • Bart Ramselaar

    Bart Ramselaar (June 29, 1996) is a footballer who usually plays as an attacking midfielder, central midfielder or wing attacker. He signed a contract with FC Utrecht in August 2019, which brought him back from PSV after three seasons. Ramselaar made his debut in the Dutch national team in 2016.
