Harmony

A delightful bittersweet comedy about a wind band in danger of falling apart.

When conductor Herbert bids farewell after thirty years, the orchestra is still playing in the lower amateur ranks. Because of Parkinson's disease, he has to stop conducting.

The new conductor Kim-Myung Lee is an ambitious and rather stubborn guy. He wants the orchestra to compete in a pretentious competition and introduces the Japanese Jinzo method. This requires you to be able to sing your part before you can play it on your instrument. This is not to the liking of the members of the orchestra and therefore causes hilarious scenes. The misery is complete when they also lose their rehearsal space, relationships break down and suddenly there is no money left for new instruments. In short: total chaos.

Harmonie consists of an absolute star cast, including John Buijsman, Rutger de Bekker, Marjolein Touw, Finn Poncin and many others.
