Erik Zwaga takes you to rugged nature with his landscapes full of grass, reeds and feral scenes. His art balances between realism and abstraction, tranquility and dynamism. With Erik it is the details that determine the atmosphere of the landscape.

Hans Deuss's fantasy worlds are a play of contrasts. His angular forms clash with organic nature, where man has a silent but distinct absence. His works invite the exploration of the relationship between nature and culture.

Leon Veerman, the group's sculptor, takes his inspiration from nature and translates it into birds with human traits. His sculptures are expressive and powerful, with a subtle thought-provoking message.

René Tweehuysen shows how the North Frisian landscape influences his canvas. His technique of painting layer upon layer brings people, animals and even industry to life, while stillness always remains present.

This exhibition is an ode to the craftsmanship and contemporary appeal of these artists. An experience where you keep discovering, time after time.

Musiom is known for its focus on contemporary art by Dutch artists born around the 1950s. Located in the heart of Amersfoort, in addition to the main exhibition, the museum offers a look at the museum collection, artworks for sale in the gallery and a visit to Hans van Horck's studio.

We cordially invite you to experience this special exhibition for yourself. Get carried away by the hushed moments and find your own silence in the dynamics of art. See you in Musiom!
