Statue Silent Battle on Eemplein

Opening with Twan Vet and Diggy Dex

On February 12 at 5 p.m. the official opening will take place by, among others, alderman Paffen-Zeenni, Dienke Bos (director MIND), Twan Vet (poet and musician) and Diggy Dex (rapper). This meeting is organized by the Municipality of Amersfoort in cooperation with MIND, GGz Centraal, Indebuurt033, the Eemland Library and KAdECafé. Everyone who wants to attend is welcome to do so on the Eemplein.

The sculpture 'Stille Strijd' by artist Saskia Stolz is coming to the Eemplein in Amersfoort. It will be on display there from February 12 to 26, 2024. The sculpture (2.5 meters high) of a huddled boy symbolizes the inner struggle that many depressed young people face and 'travels' through the Netherlands and Belgium.
