Take a look in advance

On the site where in 1913 the Royal Army's Aviation Department was established stands, 100 years later, the National Military Museum. An impressive building with a spectacular roof and 13-meter-high glass outer walls. Explore the Arsenal and wander among tanks and planes.

In addition to the impressive Arsenal, there are 6 themed rooms where the story of the armed forces is told. Personal stories of extraordinary people.

Not only is the museum itself worth a visit, the surrounding area has plenty to offer as well. Enjoy the special nature of Park Vliegbasis Soesterberg, cycle past military heritage or discover the works of art on the grounds and in the shelters.
