Did you know that the Hof is the largest square in downtown Amersfoort? The bustling square is home to several restaurants and cafes. You can also enjoy the market on Fridays and Saturdays. The name the Hof goes back to the medieval bishop's court that was located on a spur of the Utrecht Heuvelrug where the river Eem flowed on the east side with a curve around it.
